Gather Round – Pairing Book
Gather Round is a photography and recipe book aimed at combining drinks with music. More specifically, it is the idea of pairing classic cocktails that have up-to-date modern ingredients and ratios; and pairing them with modern music.
Gather Round is all about the feeling, whether you start with an album or mixing a drink, finding that perfect parter is what Gather Round is all about.
The design for this book was to have a large section of each spread dedicated to making a cocktail, and with that is a paired album with a synopsis of the tandem and a tracklist. Finally, a photography composition combining cocktail photography with a vinyl record of the paired album as apart of the composition. The following spread after each pairing, is a full spread of the album's vinyl record.
